Ok day 1. It's not a pretty picture. I weighed in at 347.2. Now granted that's not the highest I've been. I've topped out at 360lbs so...yeah. But still. BAD. According to Lose It, where I track my food, I can have 2339 calories a day to lose 2 lbs a week. Well, my goals are more than that, so I likely won't be near that many cals. I'd like to keep it around 1700-1800 a day. But we'll see.
Ok on to the food tracking. Due to extenuating circumstances (have been fighting a nasty sore throat the last two weeks), I need to have something hot and soft for breakfast. So I've taken to having a bowl of Easy Mac. It works well enough to soothe my throat. I added a banana to it this morning as well afterward, and a glass of unsweet tea for abit of caffeine. Lunch was chicken noodle soup and applesauce. I had two tbsps of local honey (hoping it helps my allergies), one of those was in a cup of lemon echinacea hot tea. For an afternoon snack, I had some yogurt (and 4 starburst), and then some peanut butter crackers. Before working out tonite I had some popcorn chicken. And then late this evening I had a bowl of noodles with some I Can't Believe It's Not Butter and garlic salt to end my day at 2099 calories.
For exercise, my friend and I hit the gym for the first time and did 18 minutes on the treadmill, and then about 40 minutes of weight training. We ran through most of the machines, so worked all our muscles. My arms and legs feel like rubber...but it's a good feeling. I'll be ramping up the treadmill work too. Getting it going!
